Peter Brown is a composer, pianist, and singer based in Minnesota. He serves as Director of Music at the Church of St. Joseph in West St. Paul. A versatile musician, he has sung with ensembles including Borealis Chamber Artists, Twin Ports Choral Project, and Ensemble Intersection, and has worked in a variety of musical environments ranging from jazz and sacred music to recording sessions and collaborative projects. He holds a Master of Arts in Liturgical Music from Saint John’s University and a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies from the University of Minnesota Duluth. As a composer and pianist, his work spans choral, liturgical, and instrumental genres, with a particular focus on music for the Church.
